Advocacy Paper

For the Advocacy Paper, you will select one of the following national priorities (from the National Healthcare Disparities Report), research, and advance federal-, state-, and organizational-level recommendations:

• Making care safer
• Ensuring person- and family-centered care
• Promoting effective communication and care coordination
• Promoting effective prevention and treatment of leading causes of mortality, starting with cardiovascular disease
• Working with communities to promote wide use of best practices to enable healthy living
• Making quality care more affordable
• Reducing disparities, which are persistent in all national priorities

The paper should be approximately 1,500 words in length (excluding the list of references cited at the end) and incorporate the university core value of integrity.
