Assignment Summary
You must turn in two assignments related to study skills, professional development, and employability as part of the official assessment for the Bachelor of Science. This second assignment makes up 25% of the module’s final grade. For more information on the program evaluation scheme and general guidelines on creating and submitting assignments, please refer to your student handbook.
Word count cap: 2000 words
Please be aware that going above the word limit will probably result in a grade reduction.
The word count must be displayed on the first page. If you are significantly over this limit, you will be fined.
Learning Results
After doing this assignment, students will be able to: • Describe the application and use of supportive communication skills and connect this to relevant theory.
• Show that they are aware of the many learning styles and how their own can affect others.
Case Study Scenario: Your Study Skills
Think about the following using your own experiences and comments as a communicator and learner:
• Your oral and written communication skills in a variety of situations
• Your unique learning preferences and methods in diverse situations
The theories and ideas supporting these are outlined in the iLearn learning resources, and by concentrating on activities 1 and 2, you can address these areas for this coursework project. The majority of the work you complete for each job will be focused on thoughts on your communication skills and personal learning style in a variety of career and study contexts, in addition to referencing the pertinent theories and concepts for each task.

You are required to respond to the following assignment tasks (1 and 2) and their relevant component parts (a, b, etc.) using the learning resources offered in iLearn. reading materials from reliable sources (e.g., EBSCO, Google Scholar), information concerning your communication skills and personal learning style based on your experiences and reflections on these, and more.
1. This assignment (1000 words) is about communication abilities.
a) Summarize the key ideas and theories relating to communication, including conducting meetings, giving oral and written presentations, and conducting interviews.
b) Using your own experiences with meetings, interviews, and presentations as examples, discuss how your actual communications differed from the concepts and theories. Any variations between the ideas and your existing practice should be highlighted.
c) Describe any new information you may have acquired from the various theories and concepts that you could utilize to your advantage in upcoming conversations in the various forms mentioned above.

2. This assignment (1000 words) is about learning styles.
a) Briefly summarize the key ideas, theories, and models relating to learning and learning styles.
b) After giving some thought to your own unique learning style, describe how it contrasts with the theories, concepts, and models of learning. Point out any variations between the models and your current method.
c) Talk about any new information you gained from the various learning principles, theories, and models that you could apply to your future learning.

Students are introduced to HE at Level 4. Students must exhibit the necessary knowledge, abilities, and skills. They must also be articulate when expressing their thoughts verbally and well-organized when writing or using other forms of media. At this level, students’ forms of expression could be imitative or descriptive, but it’s expected that they’ll show a growing comprehension of the theoretical underpinnings of their research, the analytical abilities necessary to examine it, and how it relates to specific skills as necessary. It is expected of students to become aware of their skill sets’ strengths and shortcomings.
