ASSIGNMENT FOR SSCI 1000U PAPER

The assignment requires students to turn in a single, double-spaced, five-page paper. Times New Roman 12pt should be used for all sheets, and the default margins should be used.

Normative Requirements:
1) Writing style: Depending on the student’s preference, it may be written in the first or third person.
2) Title Page: The title, the professor’s name, the date, and the course code are required.
3) Page Numbering: All pages must be numbered, with the exception of the title page, which will be page #1 because it contains your introduction. To accomplish this, start page numbering in Word at 0 and hide page numbers on the title page. As desired by the pupil, numbers may appear wherever on the page.
4) Introduction: There must be an introduction that includes the following details in any order that you feel like using:

e. Crucial: Be succinct. A strong introduction should be no longer than one page, or between one-half and three-quarters of a double-spaced page.

5) Body Paragraphs: A document of this size should have 4–8 body paragraphs, each of which should be between 12 and 34 of a page long. If a paragraph is longer than one page, you should divide it into two independent paragraphs.
6) Subject Sentences: Each body paragraph should include a distinct subject sentence that is related to each and every other sentence in the paragraph (this is typically the opening sentence). It functions as a thesis or theme sentence specifically for that paragraph. If you are only indicating the subject matter of the paragraph that will come after, you may not need to cite it.
7) In-Text APA Citation APA rules should be followed when citing sources.
