Research potential mechanisms

1) Speculate on and/or research potential mechanisms which would afford the improved processing.

While existence of the “professional” antigen presenting cells partially ameliorates problem of the self/non-self discrimination, it remains difficult to understand how it is possible that the cell’s class II molecules are not deluged with the processed “self” molecules.

2) Speculate on and/or research potential mechanisms which would afford improved the processing or recognition of potentially dangerous molecules versus presumably not so dangerous self antigens.
