Solid Waste Management

The topic is in Solid Waste Management – Specifically in paper recycling by paper mills and other end-markets. First chapter – Introduction and Background (4 Pages) You have to fully define the the problem. Define Other curbside recycling programs such as Dual Stream, Mixed Waste, and Source separated programs. You will also need to mention clearly the motivation behind this project. Also, you will need to mention the new rules that China has recently put regarding the contamination rates. Please include figures and charts for this section. I will attach excel file that has many reports for waste characterization studies in each state. Therefore, you can get more charts and figures for the motivation part as well as to explain the situation clearly. Second Chapter – Literature reviews (10 Pages) Please fully cover the previous literature studies in Single Stream Recycling. You will need to mention academic papers only. No Reports in this section. Third Chapter – Methodology (3 Pages) In this section, please mention that data was collected by extracting them from each annual waste characterization report for the following states in the US: CA, FL, MN, IL, OH, CH, NY, SC The data are by counties. I will attache the excel file for some of the data for better understanding on how you going to write this section. Fourth Chapter – Descriptive Analysis (3 pages) Here you will need to put descriptive analysis. The data will be sent later after I receive the first three chapters.
