A standard is a developmental milestone that students should grasp or know before moving on to the next standard, as opposed to an aim. An objective is a component of or a unit under a standard. The subject or topic you want the students to understand in order to meet the criteria is known as an objective. For instance, counting to 100 is a popular core standard for kindergarten math. The goal of this standard is to initially have the student count to ten before adding targets until they reach 100, whether you have them count by ones or tens. Formative evaluation is an integral part of the lesson plan that links into the purpose of determining what the students have learned. The teacher can tell if the students learned the objectives thanks to the formative assessment. As I mentioned earlier, the objectives determine the standards; thus, with counting to 100, the initial target might be to have the kid count to 10, then to 20, and so on. Once they have mastered counting to 100, you may ask the pupils to count from 10 to 100, and so on. I chose the kindergarten shape-learning standard. The pupils’ first learning goal is to locate every circle in the space. I would then challenge the students to try drawing circles. Finding squares in the classroom is the second learning goal for the kids. The pupils will next be encouraged to name square objects in their homes and surroundings.
