The history of history

Identify a particular theme and asses the secondary literature on it. essentially this should be a summary of the historical writings on the topic. the purpose of the paper is to COMPARE & CONTRAST & ANALYZE what different scholars have written on a historical topic, including their questions, methodologies and what influenced them . THIS IS NOT A RESEARCH PAPER; you should not be using primary sources or asking historical questions.

Nor is this a book review. the aim is to research “the history of history” what different historians have said on your particular subject and why This assignment requires the submission of a paper proposal and annotated bibliography, a full paper draft ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY: at least 5 – 6 sources, listed alphabetically in CHICAGO STYLE FORMAT abd offer a brief commentary on the contents, argument and overall usefulness/relevance of each source to your subject
