US v. Watson

First, read all the way through US v. Watson.  After reading Watson, thoroughly review your case brief template and Case Briefing Rubric. These will also be sent via email. Errors in formatting, citations, sentence structure, grammar, and/or spelling will factor into the score for each category. If you cite the case directly, you can use either APA format (no footnotes, endnotes or bibliography required, just provide in-text citations). Remember “…a case brief is a short structured summary of the relevant facts and issues involved in a particular case. A good case brief includes sufficient factual details so that a set of rules or guidelines may be established to use when making future decisions.” In short, the brief of the case should properly analyze all relevant categories.
