For this discussion, use the “Community Policing Defined” article by the DOJ linked in the Lecture Notes of the Lessons tab as your primary resource.

For your initial post, describe an example problem from within your community where community members could partner with law enforcement. What community issues and concerns should be addressed? What strategies should be implemented to enhance collaboration and provide impact? How would you apply the SARA model? How do you think this partnership could affect the community in the future?
