The Family: Diversity, Inequality, and Social Change By Philip N. Cohen—This book needs to be used as one of the two academic references.– You can choose the easiest movie for you to review. It can be as easy as a Disney movie. I’ve attached the details in a photo. I’m also going to C/P the rubric here if the photo ends up not appearing. -For this paper,you will produce a film review of a movie through a sociological lens. Please pick a movie that has a family unit. Any form of family will work great. The film must be fictional; do not use a documentary. The paper should be between 3-5 pages in length, typed and double-spaced. You will need to include at least four sources in the paper: • Acceptable sources can be from our class or sources that you have found outside of class. • At least two of the sources must be from academic, peer-reviewed articles/books. • The Cohen text counts as one source, regardless of how many times you cite it. • MLA formatting is required.
