Be sure to include the total costs of the program as your expenses and your internal funds, billing or other revenues from the program and other non-grant sources of funds like loans or outside donations, etc as your revenue goals. You need your financial projection to “breakeven” in terms of revenues = expenses…. so your grant funding $ request is going to be the balancing “revenue” number you need to add in if you want to show the grant request as a revenue item. Alternatively, you can show that existing revenues are greater than projected expenses and you will be budgeting a “loss”. This loss amount becomes your grant $ request that you are asking for) Budget Narrative – 1 point (Detail of how you ended up with the line items in the budget)
