The TIGER Nursing Informatics Competencies Model consists of three parts: Basic Computer Competencies, Information Literacy, and Information Management. This week’s discussion will focus on basic computer competencies and information literacy.  Review basic competencies presented in the TIGER Initiative: Reviewing the Nursing Informatics Competencies PowerPoint presentation. For this week’s discussion response, please address each of the following:

1. Select two of the competencies that you feel you have mastered and select two that you need to improve upon.
2. Explain what you plan to do to improve upon those competencies you have chosen that require improvement.
